This dumbfounded government appears to be deliberately wasting the residents of New Orleans. What if the 30 ft. of water had come in with the storm, a quarter million would have died. What about 3 days of forecasts that it would hit New Orleans with 30 ft. high waves? I suggest that they did not expect there to be any survivors to need food or water.

Let Pat Roberson go down there and drive one of his semis up to the Superdome with water if he wants to prove himself as a true charity, instead of just raising money and help-ing out on the fringe area in safety. Let George W. also drive one of those semis in to the needy area loaded with water and good food prove that he is genuinely interested and not just a politician if he can. All he can do is to promise to restore order by military force and they do not need more guns or shooting, we need the people to be fed and hydrated quick. George could not move until somebody told him what to do. People are having to use the bathroom in public like animals, 6 days after the storm 10,000 people or more not rescued.

Our town has offered their convention center but it has no showers. Other nations, Cuba and North Korea are offering to send help and I think we should accept it immediately.

It is surely a crime what they have done to these people yet they sweep it under the rug.
